Our mission is to foster a world where everyone can thrive, innovate, and contribute to a more diverse and inclusive technological future.

Our Founder

Evo Learning Academy was founded by Emily Lago Anderson in 2023.


Emily is a computer engineer with a passion for equity in technology and education. As a woman of color in tech, Emily is eager to foster a more diverse and inclusive tech landscape. Shaped by her cultural experiences and driven by her belief in the transformative potential of education; Emily's engaging and culturally centered tech workshops breathe a new life into the next generation of technologists. With a wealth of experience in the tech industry and a robust background in providing tech education to K-12 students, Emily provides a unique perspective that bridges the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical skills which propel scholars towards successful tech career paths.
